NZ’s Governor General uses Wikipedia

The Governor General of New Zealand, Anand Satyanand has revealed in a speech that he too uses Wikipedia for information.

In a recent speech he talks about the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Graduation Ceremony of the 05/2 Pilots’ Course. “I remember as a law clerk sitting in a room with an old colleague who was an RNZAF man of the Second World War describing what it was like to learn flying the Vickers Vilderbeest which I checked on Wikipedia yesterday were described as ‘particularly unwieldly’.”

It’s pretty cool that someone so high up in New Zealand uses Wikipedia. Now if only the Queen became an admin…

And don’t forget [[Peter Hollingworth]] reads Wikipedia too! Or at least his own article.
