Jimmy Wales doesn’t like chess

The co-founder of Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales says he doesn’t like chess, unlike what his English Wikipedia entry once stated and what the norm of the geek is.

The incorrect fact on Wales’ entry is still available on the dv.wikipedia.org site, it states “From time to time, he [Jimmy Wales] enjoys a game of chess with his friends.”

It is currently going around saying how you should not use Wikipedia because even its founder’s entry isn’t factually correct. Which is totally untrue, just because it was vandalised once, doesn’t mean every other entry on Wikipedia is incorrect. Even Wales says that you shouldn’t just use Wikipedia for your research, but you must use it among other resources.

What a great title for a novel or film! ‘Jimmy Wales Doesn’t Like Chess’.

Interesting, though. I’ve always been suspicious of wikipedia’s credentials.

And I bet Jimbo doesn’t like chitlins. So?
